Yes, and today we are lucky to have any loyal family members, mostly everyone is out for themselves.

Genuine friendship can often be difficult to find, but they can and do come along at different times in our lives.

Wow some people are nasty here!

    Why so rude?

    It’s a simple question.

My answer is yes you are, true and real friends are very rare, at any age.

Yes, and if you become really mature, you'll completely understand the difference between a friend and acquaintances.

    Pretty much.

I have a few genuine friends, but I don't even know them :P We met on the internet.

Everyone else has either gotten really tired of me, or I suspect only talk to me on occasion due to pity/random sympathy.

Even my own family generally goes quiet when I enter a room. My auntie is nice enough to say "Hey Joey" though.

What I am saying is people (family, or friends who I barely see) generally aren't very happy to see me.

    My dog, however........... ;)
