Can someone PLEASE fix my Archos 605 Media Player?

Of course I would pay. I currently have over 8,000 songs on it and doing that all over again would make me wonder if I even care about music anymore. But I am an audiophile.

Is anyone skilled at technical repairs or know of some company or website that are RELIABLE and TRUSTED for doing these kinds of things? If you are one person that is good with this stuff, I would, of course need some way to verify that you are trustworthy.

THE PROBLEM: Hard drive failure.

The hard drive is where all your recordings are stored.

Unless you want to pay $2500 or more

for a professional recovery of whatever data can still be read from it,

you will need to start all over.

I simply Can Not Understand why anyone would keep ALL of their music on a hard drive.

A hard drive failure is not going to be fixed, your songs are gone. Sorry. Meanwhile, look for a repairer in your local area, you haven't even told us where you live.
