It was an excellent stage show.

    The music was catchy too.

I think it's an album. I also think it was a gratuitous cash-in on a successful live musical play. I also think it's old.

I also think I'm right, because I am.

I saw the stage musical on Broadway way back in the early 70s. It was unusual at the time and seen by many Christians as blasphemous, but I think it's very dated now. The movie is extremely dated and looks like a museum piece. The music is ok but its nothing special.

"Jesus Christ Superstar". Who was that? Urge Overkill? Marylin Manson? I know that album name.

I think it could really benefit from a 21st century re-imagining.

The most qualified singer for a modern update would probably be the famed Jesus Christ impersonator and Creed singer Scott Stapp.

Scott needs more E.C.T., or perhaps a pre-frontal lobotomy.

    I hate all things Jesus.

You might get more out of seeing the actual movie.

But it's seriously dated stuff. Hippies. Moldy ones.

  • Other than Ian Gillan singing on the original soundtrack, never listened to it.

I believe that musical won a Tony award.
