No, it shouldn't be illegal because of that true fact. Although, this is a Christian nation it is not a theocracy, and has tolerance for other religions and worldviews; therefore, the Constitution does not outlaw atheism as long as it does not interfere with the laws of the Constitution.

Let us also be clear that the origins of the Constitution were out of Christian values. If they were not, polygamy would be legal; blue laws would be unconstitutional; and it would be illegal to make Christmas, Easter, and other religious days national holidays. There is no official Ramadan day. Circumcision isn't mandatory.

And it is not a secularist nation either. If it were it would be antithetical to even place a protection on religious expression, because secularism denies the very existence of religion.

Now, can all that change? Can we become a totally secularist nation? Yes. But, first you would have to get rid of the 1st amendment to achieve the goal. And that can be done as there is allowance to overturn amendments. But I think you would be shattering the nature and culture of these United States to do such a thing.

This idea about the founding fathers is absolute horseshit

  • Why would it be illegal?

You forbid the atheist person to go freely to hell?

In sacred writing he doesn't speak of illegality, but of freedom, and you cannot forbid those who wish to cry and suffer in hell not to go out there!

Looking at your question I think America would do better to make bad punctuation illegal.

Why keep to a constitution that is out of date?

Why do you worship people who don't even live in this century?

There are so many places better than America to live in: safer, more prosperous etc. The whole ego thing put into Americans during education to make them think that the USA is so great is an illusion.

When you look at Income per capita, GDP, literacy levels, maths scores, road traffic deaths, gun violence, crime etc., the place is just a mess compared with the countries that top these metrics.

The constitution and the government are just antiquated and need reshaping to match our more advanced methods for governing that companies and corporations use.

Maybe you could work on thinking prior to typing, or not typing after having an irrelevant thought.

Nope Our Founding Fathers gave them the right to be just as foolish as they want to be, and I support that right. As I support Freedom. There is no law against being stupid
