My wife has a interview with a company that wont tell her the name or the details until the interview, shes in the Philippines is it safe?

Update:

This person texted her saying that she has a interview in a starbucks in Makati City, They wont tell her the company name or any details until the interview which is at 6:20 PM Monday, something about this doesn't feel right and I'm worried about her safety, I know she needs a job right now but this doesn't sound right at all, Just based off of not giving a company name makes want to urge her not to go, what do you guys think?

That conduct from a USA based company violates US Labor Law.

Multi-national companies are exempt from US Labor laws. I've

been employed west of Hawaii overseas. I could quit at any time

or if my hire was terminated the law required paid transport back

to the nearest USA mainland. With paid rest facility after any 12

hour period of transport. With a paid meal on arrival and before

departure. Multinational's tend to bend whatever laws they are

obliged to respect overseas by bribery or worse. Meaning your

wife becomes their chattel on arrival. Subject to any direction

and punishment. She may see pets obtain better treatment.

Address any foreign embassy located in Washington D.C, to

request a list of US Corporations authorized to operate in

their nation. Its a free service. Then choose what would be

best for USA hire to work overseas protected by labor laws.

A process I've done twice with success using snail mail and

penciled postcards. Be polite. Be brief. Never pay anything

to obtain service from corrupt foreign embassy staff in D.C.

My parent worked overseas for 3 decades with no grief in

    USA based corporations. Go figure.

ARE YOU INSANE? Of course it is dangerous!! who would think otherwise??? and I am someone who travels and does business in the Philippines for the last 3 years. Even if it is her own country, you would be nuts to allow her to go, and she would be setting herself up to be kidnapped or something if she did go. The thing is it doesn't matter what country she is in. She would be stupid to do that even if she was in the United States!

BEING THAT THIS QUESTION WAS ASKED MONTHS AGO, I am curious to know what the outcome was. Is she still alive?

It sounds shifty go with her. When it proves to be shifty make sure you punch the crap out of the turn out so it doesn't do it again.

    Seems sketchy

I am not a professional but this might be a setup business in which the owners rip everyone off for as much as possible and then abandon the company. However, on the other hand, it could be completely safe
