Stop listening to everyone who just says yes he has rights.
Depending on which state you are in he has 0 rights. TN for example if the father has not been in the kids life for more than 3 months of his own accord (not jail) then he has 0 rights, if he’s not on the birth certificate then he has 0 rights. Now you mentioned he’s been in and out of jail. Over 40 states Dictacte that if a parent of the child has been in jail more than once since the date of conception they have 0 rights. Stop looking on a wiki and go to a lawyer.

Of course he does, he is the father. He has all the same rights you do, unless a court order has limited them.

Until there is a court order indicating otherwise, yes he has some rights.

Yes he has rights. What his rights actually are needs to be determined by a judge in a court of law.
With rights comes responsibility - as in child support payments. If he doesn't want to get out his checkbook, he may change his mind about how badly he wants to see his kid.

Not unless a court grants them to him. And if the court did that the order would require that he pay child support. Get a lawyer.

Why yes, yes he does, he'll have to go to court to get them though. So, just say no until he either stops bugging you or goes to court.

YES your baby daddy has rights. He ALSO has obligations. So - if the two of you cannot work out a fair arrangement of how much time he gets to see/have his kid AND how much he is going to be paying in child support, then it's time to go to court and have the system set all that up.
