What language do they speak in Virginia?

I live in Oregon and we speak English here. Me and my family are visiting Virginia this summer. Do people speak English there since it's so far away?

Spanish and English are spoken in every city or county in Virginia, but French and German are also very popular. Korean, the next most common language, is spoken across 92 localities. The variety of languages spoken in so many areas in the state adds to the cultural diversity in Virginia

surprised you didn't ask if you need to go to the bank and exchange for virginia money. People do speak English there. I don't know what gave you the impression they don't.

Virginians were speaking English long before anyone in Oregon spoke it.
