Can a middle schools cheer teams practice be held at the coach's house?

Younger sister has cheer practice over the summer and it's being held at her coach's house. Is this even legal?

If it’s a group going and they’re all together in one room it’s fine. Especially if the coach is female. I would imagine they will probably practice in the backyard.

If you don't like it, volunteer your house for cheer leader practice.

most likely it is okay if the entire team is present all the time and the parents are allowed to watch.

You have a computer and internet access - yet have no clue how to search on state, federal and local statutes of law?

Funny thing about Yahoo searches. When you think something is illegal, you search for it - and find nothing...….. guess what? It is perfectly legal.

Unless the coach is a convicted sex offender with a court order baring him/her from being around minors - there is nothing wrong.

Practice needs to be held someplace. If you are so worried - why are you not volunteering to hold it at your house? Why are not putting on your big girl pants and going with your younger sister to make sure everything is on the up and up?

You can not run around 'assuming' there are problems. If you know something about the coach - you should have come forward. It's probably still not too late to come forward. Ask yourself this - why did you come here instead of going with your sister as a chaperone?

Of course it’s legal. It’s also easier so when they have a big orgy afterwards, no one has to travel any further!
