Because it clearly happened. The reason we haven't been back is that it was partly a political stunt, although to be fair the US did offer to include the USSR but Khrushchev turned them down. Go to www.clavius.org and read up on it if you don't believe it happened.

The fact of a lack of return visits after 1972 (thus 47 years, actually) indicates the lack of willingness to spend resources on such ventures. It has no connection with the reality of the several visits from 1969 to 1972.

The moon landing was well documented, and was recorded live across many countries. And yes, astronauts have gone back to the moon since the 1960s - and those return trips were well documented, televised and maintained.

Belief is not a requirement for something that is well documented as fact.

Presumably, your grandparents existed more than 50 years ago, and presumably they got together with each other in various fashions, which resulted in you, right? We presume these things, but do we really have any proof they existed? It was 50 years ago after all.

What has believing in anything got to do with having chosen not to do it again for 50 years?

Another ignorant naysayers. You are talking about one of the most documented events in mankind's history.

Why no return is ' what for?'.

Also the matter of " no bucks,, no Buck Rogers".

The Egyptian pyramids exist, even though no one has built a new one in more than 50 years.

I've never been to Spain, so no one has been there either.

Maybe because of the proof and validation that humans have walked on the moon? And people like NASA have much more important things to concentrate on then sending another person to the moon when they've already done so, and don't forget about the plan with Mars.
