    you could make a list of what you need and put it somewhere like on the fridge or on your wall so you can remind yourself to focus on what you need to do

    You have to identify the need first, then you simply always go for that thing, always. I do not know how to tell anyone how to constantly concentrate on any particular thing, but that is what you must do: Refuse to let your mind get distracted.

    You sleep, eat, exercise, plan, talk with friends and family, manage your money, do health checks, etc. to focus on what we need.
