"When did psychiatrists begin to consider homosexuality something normal or healthy?"
In the early 70's.
Even though it was categorized before that it was due to prejudice and bigotry, not on any science.

Just as soon as we got MEDICAL PROOF FROM THE SALK INSTITUTE!
It's proven through autopsies of human brains of gay and straight people that there is a marked difference in the hypothalamus region of the brain that regulated sexual stimulation.
I guess it is just too bad for religious bigots that God made gay people the way they are.....just as he made left
handers different from the rest of us.

Everyone was Pan 3000 years ago. When you look at the sexual revolution today vs. that far back, it's really nothing different. People just want to f*ck who they want and be left alone about it. But oh no, we must pay attention and abide by rusty old archaic religious texts that haven't had crap to do with the world in a thousand years. Cool.
MEN wrote those words. No deity came down and made it law. Only homophobic men who didn't want their dicks touched made this up.

it was normal (and still is) before the bible was written, in almost all cultures. then some asshat decided it wasn't and people started following that. even early christians, before there was any supposed written word of god, had homosexual relationships. you're thinking that this is all relatively new? homos have been around for thousands of years and no one cared.
history is a hell of a thing, once you learn it, you ignorant schmuck.
