Is it safe to climb a tree in beach during a tsunami?

    safer than letting the tsunami grab you. not very safe though, as trees can and frequently do get uprooted. If that were to happen, you at least would have the likelihood of a raft (the tree itself) to hang on to, which is better than being in the flotsam without any flotation assistance.

    No. Most trees don't exceed 50 feet, especially near a beach, and can easily be knocked over by the water.

    Depends on the size of the Tree. the bigger the better.
