How inappropriate is it for a married man to tell a woman he enjoys her company?

    I don’t know.... i cannot imagine my husband saying that to someone. I’d be annoyed

    Say whatever you like except; asking her out on a date, give compliments, talk about family affairs, offer money, sexual innuendos and anything else not mention. In other words conversate with no other woman but your lovely wife. Uh very inappropriate...

    You're in muddy water here. You haven't really done anything wrong, but it looks very fishy, since wives learn quickly that their husbands only tell them what they think their wives want to hear.
