Can I still get cancer if no one in my whole family has cancer ?

    Yes. Most cancers do not involve a family history. You can get breast cancer even if no one in your family has ever had it. You can get any kind of cancer even if no one in your family has ever had it.

    Most people with cancer do not have a family history of whatever type of cancer they have. Moreover, a family history doesn't inevitably mean that you WILL get a certain type of cancer. It merely increases the odds somewhat.

    Yes. My oldest sister did, however, she lived in a town which had toxic ground water due to all of the metal processing which was done eons ago and never cleaned up.

    Yes, but your risk is magnitudes greater if it runs in your family.
