What does a herpes equivocal result mean? I got a blood test done at my urologist and had a follow up today. Read below for more info?
I came up normal with herpes 1, syphillis and all the other ones you can get tested for in a blood test. However, for herpes 2, genital herpes the result was equivocal. The doctor told me that was the same as a maybe. What does this mean. Is there a good chance I have herpes. Has this ever happened to you. Thank you guys!!!

Equivocal means equally likely 'yes' or 'no'. The test could not decide.
In practice it means that you probably do not have herpes. Only you will know if you have engaged in risky sex.

you should know if you have had genital herpes or not, you would've had an obvious herpes blister.
painful and not pretty.
If you don't remember having something like that then you probably haven't had it
