Is it okay to take my pets to a pet lounge instead of hiring a pet sitter when I go on vacations?

maybe but having the pet sitter in your home will make the pets feel more secure as apposed to a strange environment.

The danger of a pet lounge is that your pet might catch something from another pet that is being housed there. Of course, a reputable lounge would make sure all pets are up to date on vaccines and healthy - but you still can never be too careful when it comes to the health of your pet.
You need to consider the pros and cons of both situations and make sure the place you are leaving your pets is actually safe.
