Should I move to California after college?

After college, I need to find a place to go to grad school and reside there after graduating. If I get into a school in cali, I will probably end up going. I'm applying to San Diego State University. I heard the job market in San Diego isn't very bad. Is it a bad idea since the cost of living is so expensive?

If you must be in coastal California San Diego is the least dysfunctional of our major coastal cities. The unemployment rate in SD is about 3.3%, as compared to 4.1 for the rest of the state.

Anything in California is going to be expensive. If you have to be on the left coast, try Colorado, Nevada, or Arizona.
