Why is the U.S. focused on destabilizing nations rather than bringing them forward into a brighter, peaceful future?

Instead of taking on Iran, why not take on space and colonizing Mars and the Moon? Why not take on the challenge of world hunger? Educating the people of Earth and dragging us out of the muck and mire of ignorance?

Because there are a lot of people who make a lot of money with war. They don't care about lives lost because they aren't on the frontline and don't send their children to fight and die for their cause, which is to make more money than the indecent amounts of money they already have.

Democrat DOW™ made a fortune when LBJ used Napalm™ and Agent Orange™ on women & children on both sides of the DMZ. LBJ entered Democrat 'service' dead broke and his 'family' is 'worth' $ 100s of millions from government graft.

Lockheed Martin and Raytheon have yet to figure out how to profit from colonizing Mars and the moon or educating people.

We will leave nations alone who don't hate us and our system of government and economy. Iran has literally said that if they can develop a nuclear bomb, they could wipe out everybody in Israel. America would be afraid to disproportionately respond with more than one nuclear bomb so they would hardly affect the Muslim population of 1.6 billion people, and any Muslims who died in a nuclear exchange would go to heaven.

OR like in Venezuela, Iran could have been 'destabilized' by 'diplomacy' by Jimmy Carter and his Euro allies., Hmmmmm, natural causes or Jimmy, the Neville Chamberlain of the last 50 years, Duck. I pick Jimmy the screwup.

Sounds good. We will shift our resources to trying to create a rocket able to go to Mars and hope that Iran does not complete a nuclear bomb and wipe out the US and most of the human race before we can get enough humans relocated to other planets.

Estimate for Iran to complete a working bomb if allowed to do so: 2 years. (No country as ever failed to date to successfully build a bomb on their first try.)

Estimate to get the first handful of human to Mars: 8 to 15 years.

If we fail to get to Mars in under 2 years it will not matter since the human race will extinct...unless the US continues to focus on preventing Iran and others from getting the bomb.

And it is because of petty, small minded people like Donald Trump that Iran is again seeking a nuclear weapon. His strong desire to undo everything Obama did and reinstate it with his name on it is what brought it about.

Arms manufacturers dont view the world that way. They see the Earth as a playground where thye can make vast fortunes off of manipulating governments to short at each other.

Because some people don't want to leave the "muck and mire".

It is going to be hard to ignore Iran when they are pirating oil tankers in international waters.

Crazy to think that if all the tankers were stopped carrying middle east war, that it would affect the USA. We have largest oil reserves today, and have plenty to sell to countries that want to buy our oil, middle east oil is irrelevant, try to keep up.

OiI is expensive. We need our peopIe in charge of oiI producing countries, at Ieast in the smaIIer countries we can take out easiIy. lt's not that hard to garner up pubIic support with propaganda campaigns and let our miIitary take it from there.

when schools focus more on letting kids choose their gender, banning the pledge of allegiance rather than teaching the ideas behind it and putting all that "affirmation" stuff ahead of subjects like history..... I suppose this kind of thing is to be expected...

Ending hunger is not possible at this time.
