The original KKK was formed during the reconstruction and was the only "police force" that protected white southerners during the army occupation when they had lost their civil rights. It dissolved when the Northern Occupation ended in the 1870s.

Today's KKK was founded in 1915 after DW Griffith's movie Birth of a Nation. It represents people who do not like non-whites and immigrants in a day when they were first gaining some rights. Since the 1960s, the FBI has had them totally infiltrated, but can't stop lone wolf attacks.

Leftists always seek Power to Dominate others. That is Why the Democrats started the KKK.

They love Power and hate the American Constitution which limits that Power. That is Why they became Democrats .

After LBJ screwed them, when creating the Racist Welfare Trap, and started to take away their guns they chose to fight to keep their favorite tools of Power.

Democrats lost their KKK membership in their Party as a result of their efforts to negate the Rights of Citizens.

Where the KKK goes Most Wrong is: They want their Rights and the Power to revoke the Rights of Others. If they were Good Conservative Americans they would grant Equal Rights to All American Citizens. They are not very different from the Hierarchy of the Democratic Party of today. They love to Dominate others.
