I am curious why you think they should be cloned, and how you think it could be done.

because we might be running out

idk how it would be done except through supernatural means

Yeah! Also why hasn't someone put wings on my house so it can fly?

The combined technology and intelligence of the human race cannot produce just one self-replicating blade of grass from scratch... let alone one cell in a blade of grass.

How long will you simple love your simple ways?

Earth is unique. Planets, dwarf planets, moons and stars are each unique. Fortunately we do not have the technology to clone anything that large and probably will not for thousands of years. We may destroy ourselves first. Our layer of civilization is very thin and is rapidly eroding. There is no "normal" any more. How do your measure "normal" when there is no standard of measurement or the standards of measurement change so often they lose meaning and all you are left with is near chaos because the people at the top, the supposed leaders, are psychologically unstable and corrupt?

If you believe in the multiverse, it already has.

I always figured that the Earth would one day split down the middle and divide into two Earths, like a cell divides. Wouldn't that be cool?
