I feel empty inside. I’ve been the therapy route and am taking antidepressants. But I still feel like I want to die. Needed to get it out.?

Others are giving you very good non-medical suggestions, and I hope you will try one or more of them. In addition, I think it is important that you tell this to the doctor who prescribed your antidepressents. Print out what you wrote here, or write down how you feel, and put a date on it. When you talk to your doctor, read them the words and tell them how you felt today, even if you don't still that way on the day you are talking to the Dr.

Sometimes, what's needed is to change your dosage by 1/4 of a pill or so, but please do not change it up or down without talking your Dr first. Brain meds are tricky.

You should try and have a change of environment, that usually helps, try to go out and take time out for yourself, groom yourself, give yourself time, this will help increase self worth.

I have depression. Nothing is an automatic cure but I find that focusing on health helps , especially brain health.. I use gensing, ghinko, multi vitamins, omega 3 and anything else that helps with brain health.

Why don't you go to places like the YMCA. You can take all kinds of healthy classes there or go swimming. Swimming is excellent for the mind and body. Possibly enroll in square dancing, that sounds old fashioned, but that is good exercise and it is fun for something different to do.

When you’re alone and it’s quiet call out Jesus’ name. See if he’s in the house.

What purpose in life have you found? Do some kind acts for others without seeking rewards or notice fr it. Keep doing that at whatever level you can for 18 days. It will become habit and drive you forward and upwards.
