The earth is, of course, square.

    "Is the earth really round?"

Yes, the Earth is round. It is an oblate spheroid.

    "I don't believe it.?"

That's OK. Sanity is not mandatory.

Yes, the earth is really round. There are a number of ways to see this for yourself:

Watch a ship sail away from port and note how the bottom of the ship disappears below the horizon.

Watch a sunset, then go quickly to the top of a skyscraper or a high mountain and watch a sunset again.

On some flights over the pacific at a very high altitude (over about 40,000 ft.) under very clear conditions you can see the curvature.

Note the length of shadows cast from vertical sticks at different latitudes at noon.

See the film "Behind the Curve"; you can replicate the experiment shown at the very end of the film. In fact, see the film "Behind the Curve" anyway.

Just out of curiosity could you tell me what shape you think the earth is and why?

Well, it certainly is not a CUBE. Where are the corners?----

It is not perfectly round, but it is definitely not flat. People observed long ago that a ship that sails away from them will eventually discover below the horizon, but the mast is the last thing that disappears, long after the rest of the ship has. When a ship appears from far away, the first thing people will see is the mast, so the obvious conclusion is that the earth is not flat. It does not take an Einstein to know that it can only happen if the earth is curved.

    You're right. It's a mobius strip.

    "Hippity, hoppity, hip

A mouse on a Mobius strip.

    The strip revolved;

    The mouse dissolved

    In a chronodimensional flip."

Nobody forces you to believe that the earth Is round

Whether you believe it or not has absolutely no effect on reality.
