Is Dancing with a woman usual at formal events?

For me, a woman of 29

For instance at a 'white tie' ball/dinner that is organised by company I work for, very good for business boss said.

Its seems its a dinner, then guest speakers, then dancing has been mentioned.

As I am a woman who is married to another woman and my wife is my guest

Is it unusual for a woman to dance with another woman at a formal event like this?

I do love the idea of dancing with my wife, both dressed up in evening dresses etc

Yes, it's quite normal if you both like to dance.

It is common to dance with one's spouse at company events.

You've sung that song again and again for the last year.
