I thought Trump was gonna get rid of the deficit. What happened?

The only deficits he seems to be good at getting rid of are his own. Like taking building contractors to court instead of paying them. Declaring multiple bankruptcies to leave his creditors on the hook. Stuff like that. Yeah he’s good at that sh!t. If the top dozen or so major corporations like Amazon that pay absolutely no corporate tax and all the wealthy millionaires and billionaires that Trump is giving all the tax cuts to would contribute something, we could make a huge dent in the deficit

I thought FORMER chairman obama took care of that in his first term. What??? ANOTHER lie from on high?

It could resolve in his second term when prosperity overrides the deficits. But it is no longer likely. If the Federal Government spent the same amount as George Bush's administration spent, we would have massive surpluses from now on. We have a spending issue.

You thought wrong. The deficit has been widening for the last couple of decades and it's probably going to take that long to get it back. If you think it's going to happen overnight you're living in a dream world. Wake the F up!

What happened is that he lied. Sadly his cult members can't see that and try and spin it into something it isn't.

With an expanding economy and full employment, tax revenues will increase. And the Dems will be dipping their greedy fingers into it as usual.
