Yes, Being a chemist is a really good career. A chemist is involved in our everyday lives and there is a vast range of jobs and careers open to those who have studied chemistry at any level; great career opportunities exist both inside and outside the lab. From finding new medicines and even creating new materials, a chemist is vital.

To be a chemist is a promising and interesting choice, in my opinion. If you get a degree in this direction, you will be able to work in the pharmaceutical or even in the perfume industries. Ask yourself: where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?

Sure, you can always switch later if you don't like it.

What do you consider good? In which way? Financially? Easy to study? Not hard work to do? Everyone is different and unless you are a chemist would you be able to say it's good for you or not. I would never be a chemist, I am not interested in being a chemist so it wouldn't be a good career for me.

Depends. Chemist like Walter White or chemist like Alfred Nobel?
