What kind of house is this?

I cant decide if this is colonial or tudor?

It was built in 1929 and has vinyl siding...

    The general style is colonial. It looks nothing like a typical Tudor house such as the one imaged below.

    Not a tudor, you could maybe stretch and call it a bastard dutch colonial.

      Note also that vinyl was not around in the 1920s, thus it must have had its panelling renewed sometime in the last 40 years or so.

    The protruding front section makes it look as if it had been converted to a church.

    It could me many things but it is most certainly not Tudor.

    That's a colonial with a twist. Take away the section on the front with that high peak and you have your basic square/rectangular box with more than one floor.

    There are colonial-style homes with a Tudor look to them, but they are not true Tudor.

      Just by the style of the house Amy, Tudor normally has black beams on the outside of the house, in England, that was the main feature of a Tudor house too, I hope you see my point, Amy.
