When will the voters vote in a dictatorship?

When James Madison studied the history of democracies he learned that sooner or later the voters will vote in tyranny

The Con's are so dumb they will vote to never vote again because they've been convinced by the Republicans that it will really F the Democrats.

They began to when they voted in FDR. Ever since then, they have welcomed increased tyranny with every new democrat president

It probably won't happen in the United States because right-wingers have a culture of resistance against government tyranny. They love the 2nd Amendment because they believe they can overthrow a tyrannical government if it gets out of control. Left-wingers won't allow a dictatorship because they won't accept the curtailment of certain liberties. The government is also setup in such a way that prevents a dictatorship from forming.
