Why don’t modern muscle cars have them blower intakes?

  • YOU DON'T REQUIRE ANY EXTERNAL clues to indicate your car has enough horsepower. My car looks bone stock with the exception of a custom flared fender kit.

But it puts out at least 20% more power than the stock engine came with. And you cannot even tell by the exhaust placement.

We called those cars sleepers. Looks like it’s asleep but you don’t want to wake it up.

    They obscure forward vision.

    They interfere with air flow/aerodynamics

Many vehicles with forced induction today are turbo charged, not supercharged.

It's a safety issue. They cannot be legally installed by the car manufacturers for the reason that they interfere with the driver's forward field of vision.
