Why aren't both baskets on the same end of the court, so they don't have to run so far?

    In the very first game of basketball, the baskets were on opposite ends of a small town. Both teams were constantly called for Travelling.

    And the game could be a lot shorter then too. And the players wouldn't have to run so much.

    AND .. if the teams didn't know ''which one was which'' the final score would be a SUPRISE !

    And they should be much bigger, so less able players can aim better.

    Camera men would be out of a job.Just a fixed camera on a pole would be needed.And not much double dribbling.How sad.

    Because it would be too confusing for the teams to shoot at. Besides, half the fun of basketball is the running up and down the court.
