How much laundry detergent do i use in a front loading washer?

the picture shows what it looks like. do i fill it to the top? it doesn’t have a MAX sign

    If you're using a liquid detergent (which you should be), you use the smallest measurement line on the inside of its cap. On the detergent I use, it's half a capful that I'd guess is about a third of a cup of regular liquid detergent, not one intended only for use in front-loaders, which is more concentrated. If you have 2X or HE detergent, use half that much--or whatever it says on the detergent packaging.

    Read the packaging on thr detergent - usually just a capful.
