    In some states one can collect a stipend for caring for an aged or disabled family member. Look into your state's policies on this.

    If she's disabled and unable to care for herself. you can apply with your welfare office.

    Maybe. If she has Medicaid you can apply with the county welfare office to be made her caregiver and be paid for it. They will determine need and number of hours.

    Otherwise she can pay you out of her income.

    actually you can, i heard medicaid pays people to take care of family members so i would talk to them about it
