    Memorial Day in my opinion. Honorable mention to Dec 14th, anniversary of Sandy Hook.

    As a nation. When President Kennedy was assassinated.  The whole nation loved him. That he was murdered was a huge shock - that something liked that happened. I remember everyone being stunned for days afterwards. I was a small child but remember the feeling of grief all adults around me had. Teachers and our principal were crying, we all were sent home from school.
