Very little. 100 years ago most people did not have cars or electricity and did not go to college. The US population was 106,000,000. In the 1920's Anericans bought about 26 million cars and there was no speed limit on most highways. Now there are 276,000,000. In 1920, only 36,000 miles of roads were "auto friendly."
