Walmart hours question?

Is it normal for the first day at Walmart to only get 27hrs for the first and 27hrs for the second Week and will it go up to normal hours daily of 8hrs or is this how full time work is in Walmart

that is up to the Manager. every store has their own discretion.

most only give more hours if a worker is good and not a hassle to deal with.

anything over 28 is considered full time, so they won't give that up easily...

    Depends on their needs.

They made a deliberate choice to schedule you just under the "full time" threshold so that they don't have to give you any benefits of full time workers. It will not increase unless they become desperate for workers (expect a 12-hour shift on Black Friday).

And we're supposed to know what your Walmart (unspecified) needs for staffing?
