Fish sleeping upside down normal?

I have a black Moore goldfish that sleeps upside down. The water is okay, he eats regularly, during the day he even plays around with the water fall from the filter. He s a very active fish and swims upright when he s not asleep. He just puts himself in between things to sleep upside down, sometimes at the bottom of the tank sometimes in the middle, he s even tried to wedge himself between a glass, plant and filter ( that was a scary moment for me) and I ve had him about a year, he only started doing that a few months ago. Idk if it s normal or not.

Some species do that, like loaches. But it sounds like mild swim bladder disease.
