1997 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L will not warm start, any suggestions?

Fires straight up on a cold start, turns over but will not start when fully warm. Attempted to spray starting fluid when warm to no avail, I have seen a litany of possibilities and am a bit lost. I was going to check spark plug wires next, any other suggestions? Thank you in advance

It's a 1997 vehicle. When were the spark plugs changed the last time?

You may have leaking fuel injectors which would mean you'd have to hold the gas pedal all the way to the floor when starting it warmed up.

Is the radiator full of coolant? If the head gaskets are leaking and you're burning antifreeze you may be getting a bit of antifreeze on the spark plugs making it harder to start.

See if it has spark. Sounds like a classic CKP sensor that quits working when it's hot.
