Photographer going blind?

I'm a photographer and I've recently noticed that when I look through the lens, I'm having trouble focusing. My actual eyes that is, I can't make out a sharp focus. Or what I think is in focus, doesn't come out as sharp as it should. Has anyone else had this problem? I do wear contacts for distance. I've been very near sighted since the third grade.

If you are approaching your 40s, it could be presbyopia, and you may need to switch to bifocal lenses. At any rate, see a doctor.
