If I join the Army can I still become a Hussar? I love going around saying Hussar, it’s such a fun thing to say?

No, you can't become a 15th century Hungarian. Joining the military is irrelevant to that.

Sure. Canada has a regiment called the 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise's). If you become a crewman (armoured corps), you could join it and become a hussar. It is the senior armoured regiment in the Canadian Army. While it is no longer part of the Regular Force, there is a Reserve regiment with that name.
