Could a quiet but nice functioning adult over 40 who works and lives alone have aspergers?

    It's possible. Spectrum disorders weren't really identified as a thing yet when this person was a child. But if they're happy and functional it doesn't really matter.

    i think so, i might have aspergers but just never been diagnosed and i live alone

    Yes, they could. BUT, they are more likely to be quiet natured, over 40 and who works and lives alone

    Of course, and job agencies love subsidizing the wages of disabled workers so the employer benefits too.

      Most people who are Aspergers and high-level ASD get absolutely no disability benefits!
