Yes, it would be a good prelude to safe eating; however, I feel that some would want some, prominent figures, too practice 'abstinence'.

To practice safe eating, wear a life vest, put a helmet on your head, and fasten your seatbelt.
What is safe eating? Eating is always dangerous. Everything you put in your mouth has died just to feed you.
When following a strict diet, usually, the only condiment that is allowed is salt. That is unless you're into a no-salt diet.
