what type of spider is this?

i found the spider on my wall and it ran behind my bed and i’m very curious on what it is. I’m from the UK and this spider was quite frankly massive and scared the living day lights out of me when i saw it in the reflection of my camera.

That is your nefarious giant house spider, really about as harmless as spiders come, but they can startle the daylights out of unsuspecting persons.

    Just fast when spooked.

This is getting to mating season, so the males like this are leaving their home to look for mates.

While you are right huntsman are harmless, this is not one of them, and not known as daddy long legs. Giant crab spiders yes.
