So I have a small rock which is really unique to me. I was wondering what type of mineral or rock this is since it glisten in the light.?

    That is a geode. Exactly what the mineral is I cannot tell. It could be calcite, aragonite, quartz or chalcedony, which is a a variety of quartz. It probably is chalcedony.

    I would agree that it is likely botryoidal silica (some sort of quartz variety). Hard to be certain from the photo.

    My best guess is chalcedony (amorphous silica) on quartz crystals.
