Isn't it sad that Cokie Roberts, one of the greatest journalists we have had has passed away?

Yes and PBS summed up her life the best. Winner of the Edward R. Murrow and Walter Cronkite for journalist excellence award. She was not only an exemplary journalist who dug for truth but an individual with a big heart as her friends at the end summarize. She was a staple along with Gwen Eiffel of Washington politics.

I don't think I would call her one of the greatest.. she was much like the rest of the mass media... bought and paid for.. but I am sorry she is gone, hard for her family!

Sorry, I don't share your view.

She is very arrogant, self righteous, and has a really annoying voice.

One of the founders of the opinion news genre that has taken over the media.

Don't tell us the who, what, where, when, why, how.

Instead tell us your opinion and pass it off as news.

But why should we create a false imagine of her, just because she is no longer on our earth?
