is it true that you can go a very long time with a tie rod that has play in it? how depends on other symptoms?
in fact I was reading over past questions about this and this is one answer I saw...is this true what he said?
"Honestly you can go a very long time.i have been a technician for 25 years and i have seen hundreds of bad tie rods and i have NEVER seen a broken one "

If you move your question to a more appropriate subcategory, such as Cars & Transportation>Maintenance & Repairs, you'll stand a better chance of getting relevant replies (assuming you are refer to autos). It certainly doesn't belong in the Yahoo Answers subcategory, but we CAN assist you here with questions related to how Yahoo Answers works and the rules here. ☺
