If a child is born and needs a kidney, should the father be forced to donate his?

    No, but if he is a compatible donor and has no reason to refuse, he should be prosecuted for child endangerment.

    It might not match anyway. Sometimes only a sibling or the mother or a close relative can donate. You can't force someone to give up their kidney. That's ridiculous

    Forced? Organ donation should be done willingly, and a father should be happy to donate in order to save his child. But how does an adult kidney fit into an infant's body?

    No - it wouldn't work. Adult kidneys are far too big.

    2. Just because he’s the father doesn’t mean that his kidney is compatible with his baby.
