How long can I leave an apple in the freezer, whole uncut?

    You can leave it for 3-5 days, nothing will happen with it.

    I dont know, I'm not sure of its quality once its been defrosted though??

    Why would there be a limit to how long you can leave it there?

    If you are asking how long it will be safe there? Forever. Food doesn't spoil in the freezer or there would be no point to freezing it.

    If you are asking how long it would be good to eat in the freezer, THAT depends on how well you wrapped it. Unwrapped, it will pick up a "freezer" taste and develop freezer burn, neither of which are tasty.

    So far as I'm concerned, as long as you want/until you die and someone else removes it/until the freezer stops working and is taken away. That's true whether it's a whole apple or cut up.

    If I'm making apple wine I usually free the apples for a couple of days, let them defrost thoroughly and then they can just be squashed in my hand.
