There is no clear picture right now. The unemployment rate is 3.7%, inflation is 1.7%, the growth rate of GDP is more than 2% have not supported the crisis in the near future. The FED has reduced the fund rate and intervened in the money market to reduce the repo rate. So there is more room to adjustment if the recession will come at the end of the day. Trump does not even know that he has the source of uncertainty caused by the trade war with China. But our establishment has been prepared for the worst situation.

Collapse? Nope. Highly unlikely. Recession? That’s been the pattern since post WW2. Expansion-Contraction, etc, etc.
