    This is a test that detects inflammation in the body / a non specific marker and your health care provider will need to find out where this is .

    It is a test for inflammation and the list of causes for inflammation is very large. You can't play pin-the-tail on the donkey with lab tests. You have to start from the doctors perspective of your symptoms in order to provide relevance and clinical context to the test. A preliminary diagnosis is obtained by using history of symptoms and complaints followed by a physical and then if needed lab tests to confirm that diagnosis.
