Atheists and theists agree that the Tower of Babel was the largest structure ever built?

The structure must have been an awesome sight, it would have been impressive to see all the dinosaurs that were used in its construction. Most people believe that the tower soared 50 miles into the sky and was a majestic sight.

Are there any artifacts from the tower in any of the creation museums and is it true that Professor Ken Ham is going to build a replica of this marvel?

    Great post.

Did you know there is a documentary named “The Flinsteins” that recreate the construction of the Tower of Babel? It follows one construction worker named Frank Flinstein, who is one of the operators of the dinosaur cranes. It is a very interesting documentary.

If only mankind hadn’t eaten all the dinosaurs we would still be able to build such tall buildings. But as we all know we are unable to build any structures higher than 3 stories these days. They are trying to breed giant elephants to act as cranes, but it’s just not the same.

How did they breathe, above the atmosphere when they built that tower? Airplanes don't go that high, yet they must have pressure and oxygen in order to fly even less than that high.

I assume some of the dinosaurs depicted at the Ark exhibit represent ones that helped build the Tower Of Babel.

Well, of course it was the largest structure ever built. Back then humans were 137 feet high and had no problem constructing buildings 50 miles high.

The Earth was spinning a lot slower then, due to the weight of all of the dinosaurs. After the dinosaurs left the planet the tower of Babel became unstable and collapsed. In the aftermath there was a lot of blame going on, this resulted in some people pretending that they could not understand what the lawyers were saying. This is the source of the Babel language myth.

Ken Ham is going to build a replica of this marvel. It will be of similar dimensions, but God has told him to build it sideways, out of Lego.

Ken Hamm: Construction will begin just as soon as all those tax breaks and governmental subsidies for my "museum" arrive.

People will start to come soon and the local economy will greatly benefit. (by 2240 for sure barring the return of Jesus, if that occurs then all bets will be off.)

The U.S. Air Force definition of an astronaut is a person who has flown higher than 50 miles (80 km) above mean sea level, approximately the line between the mesosphere and the thermosphere. So all those workers in the Tower of Babel were astronauts?... at least those working on the top roof...Imaginary speaking we can... mythologically agree

  • Lol. Love your satire. The atmosphere is only 60 miles thick. :)

What is bad is that there are people who don't know this.

I believe our modern buildings are taller than the tower of babel was. There's a high probability that the Tower of Babel was as tall as a small skyscraper.
