# A circular loop please help me I need to understand this?

A circular loop is oriented 35.0 degree

to a 0.752 T magnetic field. If the

magnetic flux through the loop is 0.030

Wb, what is the radius of the loop?

A diagram would help. Assume if the orientation is at 90° the loop is perpendicular to the field for maximum flux

0.752*sin35 * π*r² = 0.030

r² = 0.030/(0.752*sin35 *π) = 0.1488²

r = 0.1488m = 14.88cm <-------

Now assume if the orientation is at 0° the loop is perpendicular to the field for maximum flux

0.752*cos35 * π*r² = 0.030

r² = 0.030/(0.752*cos35 *π) = 0.1245²

r = 0.1245m = 12.45cm

Magnetic flux through loop is

πr² x 0.752 x sin35.0° = 0.030

r = 0.15m = 15cm.
